UPDATE to group work hike schedule: May 10 work hike has been POSTPONED. We will have work hikes now on May 17 and May 24. Meet at 9 AM at Beaver Meadow Trail parking lot. See you there!

Welcome!

Outdoor minded folks who like to get together to hike, ski and explore the mountains . . .

. . . who also enjoy working in the woods, keeping alive old time skills while taking care of local hiking trails and camping shelters . . .

. . . that's the Sterling Section.

We are the local chapter of the Green Mountain Club in north/central Vermont - people who live in (or just enjoy visiting!) the towns of Morristown and Johnson; as well as Stowe, Cambridge, and surrounding area.

We go out on trips 6 - 12 weekends each year - sometimes a recreational trip, sometimes a trail maintenance trip, always just for fun. Everyone is welcome to come along (you don't have to be a member of the Green Mountain Club.)

Drop us a line, we look forward to meeting you! Our email address is "trails@gmcsterling.org"
